During the current outbreak the Parish Council is unable to hold normal meetings, as we have been advised that face to face meetings should not be taking place.
The meeting scheduled for 18th May has therefore been cancelled. At this stage we are hoping that we will be able to go ahead with out meeting on 20th July but we will review the situation closer to the time.
The Clerk will continue to deal with the day to day running of the Parish Council and you can contact her on the usual details shown on the right hand side of the screen. The Clerk, in consultation with the Chairman, will make decisions on some delegated matters during this period and virtual meetings will be arranged with other Councillors if necessary to deal with anything urgent. Draft minutes of any virtual meetings will be placed on this website.
The Borough Council of King’s Lynn and West Norfolk are offering support to vulnerable residents and you can contact them on 01553 616200.
Please stay safe during this period and follow government and NHS guidance.
We are sorry to inform you that following the latest Government advice the Play Area and all Play Equipment are closed until further notice.
If you use the playing field area for walking or running please ensure you observe social distancing in order to keep safe.

Unfortunately, Mrs Pam Biggs is no longer in a position to carry on the day to day running of the Village Hall. Also, the floor in the main hall is going to need some major works carrying out in the near future.
It is felt that the best way forward, to keep the Village Hall running, is for a new committee to be formed, as soon as possible. Following appeals in recent Parish Council newsletters some villagers have already expressed an interest in helping.
It has therefore been decided to arrange an informal meeting on Wednesday 11th March at 7pm in the Village Hall. Anyone who is interested in being part of this committee is asked to attend the meeting, so that the level of interest can be gauged.
If you would like to get involved, but are unable to make the meeting, please get in touch with Mrs Pam Biggs on 01366 383099.

RAF Marham will be holding another information ‘drop in’ event in the Sandringham Centre on Tuesday 25th April from 1400 – 1800hrs. This event will be to provide information regarding the development of RAF Marham in preparation for the arrival of the new Lightning II aircraft that will be arriving at the base in 2018. The Sandringham Centre is located behind the row of shops just outside of the camp gates.
There will be personnel on hand to answer questions regarding the arrival of the new aircraft.
RAF Marham would like to extend an invitation to the parish council and any members of the parish that would like to drop in to find out a little bit more about RAF Marham and what will be happening at the base over the coming years.
