Crimplesham Playing Field Trust Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) 14 Oct 21

Crimplesham Parish Council

The Parish Council, on behalf of Crimplesham Playing Field Trust are
giving notice of an Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) to pass a
resolution to make amendments to the governing document
(Conveyance Dated 23rd October 1986).

The EGM will take place on Thursday 14th October 2021 at 7.30pm in
the Crimplesham Village Hall.

Any resident of Crimplesham over the age of 18 is entitled to vote.
The proposed changes can be seen on the Parish Council Website
and the Village Hall Notice Board. In order that the Parish Council
can be prepare for this meeting and address any queries raised,
please raise any queries about these amendments to the clerk by no
later than 30th September.
All councillors are summoned to attend.
The Press and Public are welcome to attend to observe, and you may make representation on
agenda items during the public forum, which will not exceed 15 minutes unless directed by the
chairman of the meeting.
The Parish Council requests those attending continue to follow COVID secure measures of
face coverings, social distancing and not attending if you have any of the symptoms.

1. Introduction & Apologies.
2. Explanation of reason, benefits and process to formalise the transfer of playing field
management carried out in 2014.
3. Public participation.
4. To make the resolution for the Parish Council to become the sole trustee for the
Crimplesham Playing Field Trust and to adopt the amended governance document dated
14th October 2021, comprising the Conveyance dated 23rd October 1986 with
amendments.
Copies of the Governance documents: conveyance 23 Oct 1986 and amendment dated
14 Oct 2021 are available to view on the Parish Council website or on request to the
Clerk.

How do you feel about Summer tourism?

We are writing to invite you and the residents of Crimplesham Parish to take part in a survey on how you feel about tourism in your area.

The survey is part of the Norfolk County Council EXPERIENCE project and is about summer  tourism. It will be carried out every six months over the next 2-3 years, focussing on winter and summer tourism alternately, you may have seen the previous one issued in April about winter tourism.

  • The results will be used to tailor the activities of the project and to better understand the benefits and disadvantages of tourism for local people.
  • Anyone who is over 18 and a resident in Norfolk can take part.
  • There’s a prize draw for £40 of Jarrold vouchers for participants (excluding employees of Norfolk County Council and their families, and anyone involved in the prize draw).
  • The survey closes at midnight on 15th October 2021.

Dear Stakeholder,

Downham Market Town Council has commenced the process of creating a Neighbourhood Development Plan and would like to invite you to become involved with the process to help shape the way Downham Market grows in the future.

Crimplesham Playing Field Trust EGM – 14 Oct 21 7.30pm in the Village Hall

All Residents of Crimplesham are notified that there will be an EGM to resolve that the Parish Council formally assumes responsibility for the Playing Field as Sole Trustee to sustain its management in perpetuity and to preserve the use as a playing field as dedicated with the Fields in Trust.
